Cr. Darren McCubbin (Chair)
Former chair of the Gippsland Local Government Network and three times Mayor of Wellington Shire. Local Councillor at the Wellington Shire for 15 years and graduate of the Gippsland Leadership Program. B.Sc (Hons) in Atmospheric Physics, Physics and Mathematics teacher and former weather forecaster with Bureau of Meteorology. Currently operates Wishbone Theatre from his property in Longford with his wife Jill.

Lorraine BullĀ (Vice Chair)
President of Latrobe Valley Sustainability Group following on from a lifetime of environmental consciousness. Lorraine retired from Latrobe Regional Hospital in 2011, where she had worked as a Health Information Manager for 34 years.

Member of Mirboo North Community Energy Hub and Baw Baw Sustainability Network with links for Coalition for Community Energy Also Energy Education provider with the Renewable Energy Demonstration Trailer and former Education manager for Power Industry Degree in Marketing and Management and has lived and worked in Business Development in Gippsland for 40 years

Chris Barfoot (Project Manager LV PowerHub)
Chris hold a Bachelor Degree in Applied Science and a Masters Degree in Engineering Science. He worked in all aspects of power generation and mining in the Latrobe Valley for 33 years. Now retired he brings extensive knowledge of the power industry, project management and business development to the renewable energy sector.

Ashley Hall (DELWP)
Expertise as a Grant Officer and Executive Officer with several Gippsland Environment Agencies. (SV, SRW, PV, EGCMA, WGCMA, DELWP, EPA) connected to local government sustainability officers and Sustainability Groups with strong knowledge of sustainability projects across the state. Esther Lloyd (Communications Officer LVCPH)
Science communicator, B.Sc in Ecology and Environmental Management and a BA in Journalism. Has worked for Melbourne, Monash and Federation Universities. Has a passion for teaching.

Bernie Rowley
Vice President of The Baw Baw Sustainability Network former Rose & Fuchsia Farm owner with a strong Interest In sustainable building practices. Member Trafalgar Community Development Association.

Liz Clay
Former chair WGCMA, Fed Uni Animal Ethics Committee member, member of numerous agriculture industry committees and boards, Baw Baw Sustainability Network member, GAICD, Master Applied Science – Agriculture and Rural Development.

Director of Nrgwise, working in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, board member of Earthworker Energy Manufacturing Co-operative, member of Wellington Sustainability and Renewable Energy Network.

Tony Wolfe
Former Councillor Baw Baw Shire, Graduate Australian Rural Leadership Program & Gippsland Community Leadership Program, Chapter Leader Victorian International Dark-Sky Association, recipient of MAV Local Government Fellowship to study streetlight reduction programs worldwide, former Director on various Boards and member of Baw Baw Sustainability Network.

Jo McCubbin
(MB BS, FRACP) paediatrician by day but long time environmental activist. Active on council of National Rural Health Alliance, previous board member of CAHA and NRLJA and president of WRATH. Al Gore trained 2007 as Climate Reality Leader and mentor. Member of various Wellington and East Gipps Sustainability and Climate groups. Awarded Federation Medal

Ruth Harper.
BSc (Hons), Environmental Sustainability Officer at Latrobe City Council. Ruth has worked as a botanist/ecologist in the field of environmental management for over 15 years, with strong links to sustainability and community engagement and facilitation.

Jon Ryan Dip Agribusiness. Jon, Lauren and their daughters Lucy and Amelia farm 360 dairy cows in the Macalister irrigation district of Gippsland. Jon grew up on a dairy farm in south western Victoria and has grown his dairy business via leasing and share farming and purchased their own farm in 2015.
